Aeolus records David Briggs at Toulouse for BBC Music Magazine
On october 23 and 24 this year, Aeolus recorded the famous organist and composer David Briggs (Boston, MA) for the BBC Music Magazine at Saint-Sernin, Toulouse.
David Briggs performed Louis Vierne's 3rd organ symphony as well as Charles-Marie Widor's 5th orhgan symphony (including the famous Toccata in F major) at the famous Aristide Cavaillé-Coll organ in the Saint-Sernin basilica in Toulouse. This recording will be published on a CD together with the april 2008 issue of the famous BBC Music Magazine (release: march 12, 2008). Later in 2008, the recording will be available on David Briggs' own record label Chestnut Records.
