Recording with Ruckers harpsichord
In May 2008 a AEOLUS recording took place with the original Ruckers harpsichord of the Alexander-und-Alexandrina-von-Velen-Stiftung. It will make part of the Louis Couperin edition with Bob van Asperen.
For the recording the harpsichord was transferred some kilometres to a church near the town of Hamminkeln (Lower Rhine).
It is the second time AEOLUS recorded this instrument, as the first volume of the Froberger edition also has been performed on this instrument. As it was build 1640 in Antwerp it suits perfectly to Louis Couperin's and Froberger's works.
