Prof. Ewald Kooiman suddenly died on january 25, 2009

In the night from last saturday to sunday Ewald Kooiman suddenly died totally unexpectedly at the age of 70, during holidays with his wife in Egypt.
These are very bad news. We are very sad. We had started working together on the huge recording project of all Bach Organ Works on Silbermann organs in the Alsace. Two thirds of the cycle were already done. Working with him had always been a big pleasure. He was like a real friend for us. We do not understand at all why this needed to happen now. As for the future of our recording project, we will first have to understand and accept what happened and then calmly decide what we do.
