Alexander Wilhelm Gottschalg
Alexander Wilhelm Gottschalg studied the organ in Weimar under town organist Johann Gottlob Töpfer, following which he became cantor in Tiefurt. He published a musical periodical as well as a sizeable number of transcriptions for organ.
